The company was formed to fill a need in the Small and Medium Business IT Support space providing innovative cost savings and sales enhancing technology while leveraging every IT dollar spent toward maximum performance, protection and disaster readiness.

 

Jason Chaney - President, CTO

 

Jason Chaney is a technology executive with more than twenty-five years of experience designing and building small to large scale networks and leverages nearly a decade of sales experience in technically optimizing all areas of small to large businesses. 

 

Prior to forming Vette Technologies, Mr. Chaney was the Sr. IT Strategist and Chief Technology Officer for Milestone Partners, a private equity firm with $900M in assets.  He had responsibility for overseeing all technology related aspects including technical product and sales tool evaluations of all merger and acquisition or restructuring clients or potential investment prospects.

 

 Prior to joining Milestone Partners, he served as Director of Information Technology for Profit Technology Corporation, a financial consulting company.  Before that, Mr. Chaney was the Regional Sales Representative for Network Appliance in Charlotte, NC., where he had territorial responsibility for dozens of large financial, industrial, and retail companies and assisted in providing networking and storage solutions to lower maintenance and cost. 

 

Before Network Appliance, Mr. Chaney was the Enterprise Sales Manager for Internetwork Engineering, where he focused on selling networking, security and storage solutions to Fortune 1000 companies in the Charlotte region including regional banks, manufacturers, utilities, hospitals, and retailers.  Mr. Chaney began his career at Information Decisions Inc as a Certified Novell Netware Engineer (CNE) and Certified Banyan Vines Engineer (CBE) specializing in pre-sales technical consulting roles.

 

 Mr. Chaney was honorably discharged from the U.S. Marine Corps as a Sergeant (a Non Commissioned Officer) after serving four years.  First as a Mainframe Programmer in Assembler and COBOL languages at the Marine Corps Finance Center and then as LAN/WAN Specialist deploying Banyan Vines servers throughout the pacific region while stationed in Okinawa, Japan for a year.  Mr. Chaney was meritoriously promoted twice in four years for outstanding service.
